In the Los Angeles area, four new potential WIDE-FM stations can provide area wide coverage. The Los Angeles and Glendale allotments are best suited for Verdugo Peak, but could be placed at Mount Wilson if necessary. It is important to remember, that the effective radiated power at Mt. Wilson is going to be fairly low, even for Class C2 facilities. Don't think of the coverage of KCBS-FM or KIIS, instead, think about the coverage of KPCC. The Long Beach and Santa Ana allotments are probably best suited for Santiago Peak or another site in that part of the southland.
All activity will be on Band 6 because of a Channel 5 TV station (KVCR-TV).
