In the Seattle area, Band 6 will be used for full-service FM stations. With Band 6 being used for primary full-service FM stations, it will result in the displacement of LPTV station KYMU-LD.
There are also Canadian TV stations in Coalmont and Courtenay, BC on Channel 5 and Keremeosolalla, BC on Channel 6. These stations will be protected.
Channels to the north of Seattle may be limited due to the closeness of the Canadian border. In the areas near the border, US stations on 76.5~78.9 and 82.5~84.9 can't place certain interfering contours into Canadian territory.
